Photographer and Picsera’s Head of Education Earns Craftsman Degree

Janice Wendt, Picsera’s Head of Education was recognized for helping advance education and move the photography industry forward. Wemedal_pcndt has earned the photographic craftsman degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree was presented to Wendt by PPA President Michael Timmons, M.Photog.M.Artist.Cr., CPP, F-ASP.m, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, held January 10-12, 2016, in Atlanta. This degree is not merely a piece of paper. It means that Wendt has met the standards of excellence set by PPA. She has been awarded the photographic craftsman degree in recognition of her service to the photographic profession as an orator, author, and mentor. Wendt’s degree—and all the expertise it requires—illustrates her accomplishments and talent as one of a select few.  She has more than 30 years of experience in nature, commercial, wedding, and portrait photography. As Head of Education at Picsera, Wendt leads a growing team of digital imaging artists. Wendt is well known for her extensive knowledge and creative techniques using, Perfectly Clear, Nik Collection, Alien Skin, as well as other Photoshop and Lightroom Plug-ins. In her personal time, Wendt enjoys creating landscape and nature images with her Nikon D800, a converted infrared Nikon D7000, and a Fuji X Pro 1.
