Pricing for Outsourced Video Editing Services
We provide custom quotes for all of our clients as there are three (3) primary variables that we take into consideration when pricing our services:
Video Edit Complexity – The amount of time it takes to perform the editing task coupled with the video editor experience required for the job.
Quantity of Videos – This is the number of videos you need edited per month. The more videos you commit to sending us each month, the lower your rate per video. Your video editing team will be sized according to your monthly forecast. Please get in touch for a customized quote.
The Turnaround Time – We quote rush fees for express service which reduces standard delivery times by up to 50%, typically from 1 week to 3 business days.
For an exact quote, please click the Start Here button and send us a creative brief, your raw footage, and, if possible, a reference edit. The reference can either be your own work or an inspirational video you’ve seen online. If don’t have any project files ready and you just want to have an exploratory call, please share some background information on your business, any specific challenges you’re facing, and the volume of work you need to outsource. One of our sales consultants will be in touch with you within 1 business day – usually within a few hours.
The table below provides a baseline of our video editing services rates:
Basic Edits | Standard Edits | Complex Edits |
Subtitles & Localization | Selects, Transitions, & Sequencing | Motion Graphics, Animation, & Special Effects |
Closed Captions | Sound & Voice Overs | Rotoscoping, Match Move, & Tracking |
Content Optimization & Deployment | Color Grading & Color Correction | Compositing |
$15 to $25 per hour | $35 to $65 per hour | $75 to $100 per hour |
The table above is just an approximation of the rates we use when building your estimate. When we provide you a price, it will be a per video rate to do your unique combination of required services. Please provide us with as much detail as possible so we can quickly learn your needs and provide pricing. If possible, send us a reference video as this will help us quickly understand what you’re looking for.

Is there a monthly subscription fee?
No, there is not a subscription fee per se. Instead, you can purchase credits which you can redeem when you need to place an order. You can either purchase an annual credits plan or a monthly credits plan. Annual credits plans are better suited for customers who need our services on an infrequent basis. You can purchase credits that last for 1 year from the date of purchase. Monthly credits are good for 1 month from the date of purchase and are designed for customers who need service frequently. When requesting a quote, give us a sense of how often you need to submit work orders and we will customize a credits plan and a rate per video based on your volume commitment and the type of edits you need us to create for you.
Can I send you my presets, templates, and stock footage?
Yes, after we do a discovery call with you and get to know your specific editing needs and workflow, we can arrange to have you send us your presets, templates, and stock footage.
What is the maxium footage I can send and do you accept proxies?
Yes, we can work with either the actual raw footage or proxies. During our discovery call, we will get to know your typical output for each video shoot you do and then we can determine the best type of file formats for you to send. We will consider the final resolution of the videos you need to help us decide between proxies or the actual raw footage.
What is your typical turnaround time?
Our turnaround time is anywhere from 2 business days from the time we receive your files to as much as one week depending on the complexity of your job. Short videos such as reels and shorts for social media are typically within 2 business days and videos of 10 minutes or longer can take us 1 to 2 weeks. Your account manager will confirm the turnaround time upon reviewing your brief and submitted footage.
Can I order a la carte video editing services or do I need to have you do the entire post production workflow?
Yes, you can choose to outsource either individual editing tasks or have us complete all of your editing tasks and create your final videos.
How do I collaborate with my video editor and leave comments and feedback?
Once your video is complete, you can submit feedback through our video collaboration software, DropBox Replay. If your company has its own video collaboration platform, you can also give us access to it, and we can work inside your preferred software.
